The first step in determining if cosmetic surgery is right for you is by examining the cost.  Can you afford it?  Unless you are going in for reconstructive surgery, like to repair a serious burn or serious cuts and scrapes from an accident, your health insurance provider may not cover the costs.  With that said, be sure to check.  There are a small number of cosmetic procedures, such as breast reduction surgery, that are occasionally covered and possibly in full.  On the back of your health insurance card, there should be a phone number.  Call that number and make an inquiry.
